We are the bank with heart

Did you stop by the Mega Heart this weekend? If you ran or walked Bloomsday this year—chances are you toured the heart on your way through the trade show. At 22 feet tall and 16 feet wide, you couldn’t really miss the Mega Heart XL.

Bringing the Mega Heart to Bloomsday gave us a great opportunity to meet and talk with thousands of Bloomsday participants. We heard many heart-felt stories about heart health, and heart disease.  We spoke with a young man who received a heart transplant in April 2013. Walking through the heart with him was a very eye opening experience. He reminds us that each day is a gift to be celebrated. We spoke with men and women of all ages who had been affected by heart-disease in some way.

Talking To Kids About Heart Health

A lot of families toured the heart together. The heart provided a fun interactive way for parents to talk to their kids about heart health and the importance of healthy diet and exercise.
