Lindsey Pretty Weasel Recognized as Accomplished Under 40

For 15 consecutive years, the Idaho Business Review has been honoring select Idaho professionals under the age of 40 for already being “accomplished.” Their readers nominate more than 100 professionals every year, and their peers — past honorees and successful business professionals recognized in their own right — whittle the list down each year to only 40 candidates.

The IBR bestows this honor on leaders and visionaries, people who are active and invested in their communities, high achievers who have already reached the top – and who continue to soar. This honor was presented to our very own Lindsey Pretty Weasel at an awards ceremony held on June 26th.

A Conversation with Lindsey

How do you define success? My success is defined by the success of the team I manage. If they are successful and happy then I know I am doing a good job.  Meeting and beating my goals is also a success.  My ultimate success is having happy healthy kids.

Hometown: I was born in Grangeville ID. I have spent most of my life in Boise.

Tell us about yourself? I am a Mother to 3 beautiful children. My hobbies are my kids.  I do love reality TV and reading.  I have been with WTB for almost 8 years.  I started as a Financial Services Representative and moved to an Assistant Manager a few months later.  I started managing our State St branch a few years later and then took over our Meridian branch in 2013.

What do you enjoy about the banking and customer service field? Helping customers find a solution.  I love being a part of their lives and getting to know everything about them.  I have a customer that I helped get their first Small business loan and next year they hope to expand to the Salt Lake market.

What is your favorite part about working at WTB? The WTB culture fosters a team environment. I thrive in a team environment.

What keeps you busy when you’re not in the office? My three kids—Riley 12, Tyler 10, and Jackson 6.  They keep Josh and I busy.  We just finished with baseball season. Football starts next month.
